Today we visited Ferrymead Heritage Park and learnt how life was for children 100 years ago. These are some of the activities we got up to....
Mr Black was a very strict schoolmaster. The boys had to sit on one side of the classroom and the girls on the other, no talking allowed! Thankfully after visiting the schoolhouse we got to relax on the tram.
Then we got to play some heritage games like walking on stilts, blowing bubbles, spinning tops and knuckle bones.
We helped Mrs Grey with all her housework.
Then we got to play some games in the playground - What's The Time Mr Wolf, Farmer, Farmer, and Arabella Who Has The Ball?
